Visual Arts Faculty
Culinary Arts Faculty
Brad Luzadder has a Bachelor of Science in Theatre, a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries, an Indiana Teaching License, and is Servsafe and OSHA certified. Brad has been working in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management for 25 years, including working as Executive Chef at the Heartland Career Center in Wabash. Brad has been teaching at CSA since 2011.
Stacey Harrison is a Visual Arts faculty member at CSA. Stacey has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Design/Fine Arts. Stacey has been working in the arts for 7 years, teaching art for Kindergarten through 6th grade students at Oak Hill United School Corporation. Stacey began teaching at CSA in 2017.
Ryan Drown offers private piano and saxophone lessons at CSA. Ryan is a long-time member and current board member of the Mississinewa Valley Band and studied music throughout high school and college. Ryan has been offering classes at CSA since 2015.
David Rees offers private vocal and piano lessons at CSA. Dave has a Masters degree in Music and Theatre and has been working in the arts for 40 years, with a background teaching in public school and church settings. Dave started teaching at CSA in 2017, but has been a long time supporter of CSA and previously served on the board of directors.
Tim George offers private piano lessons at CSA. Tim studied piano for 10 years and has a background working as a church and school accompanist. Tim has an extensive background in radio broadcast and is currently Program Director of WBAT and co-host of Good Morning Grant County. Tim has been teaching at CSA for 4 years.
Michele Henry is a vocal instructor and Theatre compANY faculty member at CSA. Michele has a Bachelor Degree in Music Education and has been working in the arts for over 20 years. Michele spent 10 years teaching music/choir at a private school, during which time she directed 10 full musicals and 20 mini musicals.
Nikki Bailey is part of the Theatre faculty at CSA. Nikki has a Bachelor Degree in Theatrical Studies from Ball State University. Nikki has been working in the arts for over 10 years. Nikki has acted in, directed, or worked backstage for over 20 productions. She has received 4 awards for Best Actress/Best Supporting Actress from Marion and Muncie Civic Theatres. Nikki has been working at CSA for 5 years.
Dr. Steve Wood is part of the Theatre compANY faculty at CSA. Dr. Steve has a Ph.D. in Design and Directing and an M.A. in Theatre Arts. Dr. Steve currently teaches Design, Theatre History, Scriptwriting, and Speech at IWU and has Directed or Designed over 25 productions in Indiana, Ohio, Texas, and New Mexico. Dr. Steve has been teaching at CSA since 2013.
Dr. Steve Wood
Kirston Hiller has been dancing since the age of 3 studying all styles of dance. At the age of 17 she found a passion for teaching and decided to start assisting classes, growing in that aspect of the dance world and eventually teaching on her own. Along with her teaching experience she decided to also continue her pursuit in performing, dancing professionally for the WNBA Indiana Fever "Fever Inferno" dance team as well as the NBA Indiana Pacer's "Pacemates".Kirston has been teaching at CSA for 12 years training students in Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop. In 2016 She decided to create The CSA Crew, a Hip-Hop performance company allowing students to develop there skills on a more focused level. These students perform throughout the community at local events such as high school basketball games, community events, and for the first year a Pacer's game. She is excited to be taking on more with CSA in our recreational programing this year teaching Tap and Jazz classes as well as doing work with CSA's Musical Theater Company and performances.
Rachel has a B.S. in Theatre Performance from IWU. Rachel's background includes two off-broadway performance touring plays, street theatre at the Olympics in Sochi, Russia, featured actor at Fairies, Sprites, and Lights at Cornerstone Center for the Arts, 14+ community and IWU plays/musicals, 5 short films in Indiana, Colorado, and Tennessee, 1 film documentary in Illinois, and 2 radio dramas broadcasted in 18 countries. Rachel has taught at Cornerstone Center for the Arts and Upward Bound. After interning with CSA, Rachel began teaching at CSA in Spring of 2011.
Director of Theatre
Hailey Higginbotham graduated from Ball State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in pre-physical therapy and a minor in Dance. Hailey's ballet training began in Kansas City under the direction Juan Trujillo and Stephanie Schrimpf, and continued under the direction of Karen Gibbons-Brown, Jeremy Blanton, Kim Sagami, Elenora Pokjitonova Hartung, Joellen Wojowicz, and Tracy Tritz when she relocated to Indiana. Hailey has performed in multiple full-length ballets, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Giselle, and Nutcracker. Hailey has over 8 years of experience as a studio co-owner and Ballet Mistress. Hailey began teaching at CSA in 2016.
Director of Dance
Doug Weaver offers private lessons in guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele. Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television Communications. Doug has been teaching for over 40 years, and taught at Russ Drum and Guitar, Studio B Music, Music Conservatory, The Guitar Teacher, Marion Music and Sound, and began teaching at CSA in 2016. Doug's former students have gone on to write music for The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Castle, One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, NBC, and MTV. Others have gone on to perform with Lou Reed, David Lee Roth from Van Halen, and Craig Campbell.
Kendra Hoffert holds a B.S. in psychology, with a minor in voice, from Trevecca Nazerene University and M.M.E. with an emphasis in music therapy from the University of Kansas. A classically trained vocalist who plays piano and guitar, she currently gives vocal lessons at CSA. Since 2013, she has been employed at Indiana Wesleyan University teaching music therapy courses and supervising music therapy practicum students. She is a board-certified music therapist. Kendra has experience particpating in and leading a wide variety of musical rehearsals and performances.

Steven Curtis is a resident of Upland, IN for 15 years, with wife Shelly and 3 children., and Ted the Golden Retriever. 27 Year Veteran of the Film Industry, a Graduate of Columbia College Chicago in Film/Video, award winning video editor and special effects guru…the 2nd most prominent area of Steven’s life came alive 4 years ago when he dived in to painting on wood panels.Steven has exhibited at the Marcia Evans Gallery in the Short North arts district of Columbus OH, the Gasparilla Arts Festival in Tampa, FL, and most recently had an entire gallery showing for the entire season of 2017 at the Schedel Arboretum and Gardens near Toledo, OH. His work has been on display as well at the Minnetrista Cultural Center in Muncie, IN., and his works have sold to various collectors from Kansas to Australia.

Madison Reed has been dancing for seventeen years, and is in her fourth year of teaching, and her first year teaching at CSA. Madison danced with Becky Seamster Dance Studio competitively for ten years, and is currently a Sophomore at Indiana Wesleyan University majoring in Pre Art Therapy with a focus in dance. She continues to train at CSA. Madison is looking forward to having the opportunity to work in such a creative space where all forms of art are integrated and appreciated.
